The Adventures of Loupio Vol. 8: Crusaders and Pilgrims

Loupio’s latest adventure has him following Saint Francis in his journey to the Holy Land.   

In the exciting days of chivalrous knights and wandering troubadours, a young, orphaned poet and musician named Loupio travels throughout Italy experiencing many daring adventures. Befriended by Francis of Assisi and accompanied by the wolf tamed by this saintly guide, Loupio’s often dangerous encounters help him and young readers learn lessons of faith, hope, and charity.

Saint Francis has left to preach the love and mercy of Christ to Muslims in the Holy Land. Feeling lonely, Loupio sets out on his own journey and discovers men, women, and even children on their way to Jerusalem. Amid adventures, dangers, and narrow escapes, Loupio makes new friends and meets up with old ones.
