God told Abraham that he wanted to make a covenant, a pact, with him. Every time God asked Abraham to do something, Abraham said yes with all his heart—even if he didn’t understand, even if the task was very, very hard. The Lord kept his promises to Abraham. For the Lord always keeps his promises.
